Consul General: More than 70% of Turkish citizens living in Azerbaijan voted

In the first round of the presidential elections held in Türkiye, more than 70% of Turkish citizens living in Azerbaijan used their rights to vote, Consul General of Türkiye in Ganja, Recep Oztop said, APA reports.

According to the Consul General, the majority of voters voted in Baku. In the city of Ganja, a total of 1,394 people participated in the first round of voting.

Receb Oztop said that citizens will actively participate in the second round of elections to be held three days: "A total of 11,000 of our citizens in Azerbaijan have the right to vote. The second round of elections will take place in three days. Turkish citizens can easily pick a time from 08:00 in the morning to 22:00 in the evening."
