19 Councils of young scientists were established at the institutions of higher education, 12 ones � at the research institutions and 9 ones at the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. The agenda of the meeting of the Centre for Young Scientists, which was recently established on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan, was dedicated to the newly opened councils.
The work of the councils of young scientists is aimed at creating specialized scientific groups at academic departments, laboratories and other analogous structures. The Centre for Young Scientists of Turkmenistan will coordinate the scientific work. The Council will study the submitted applications, will select and register the most appropriate research topics. The work will be monitored by scientific departments opened at the Centre for Young Scientists of Turkmenistan, including the departments of humanitarian sciences, physico-mathematical and engineering sciences, chemical and geological sciences, medical, biological and agricultural sciences.
The Centre for Young Scientists of Turkmenistan has started the work on creating a special list of research papers. In future, they will be submitted to various ministries and production enterprises to consideration. The authors of the most important works will be able to introduce innovations in any industry of the national economy. Thematic exhibitions will be organized and a collection of scientific works of young researches will be published to optimize this work.
Other important issues related to the development of the youth scientific movement in our country were discussed during the meeting.
