Critical Vulnerability Discovered in Google Chrome Browser

Baku: A critical vulnerability (CVE-2025-0445) has been discovered in the Google Chrome browser, Electronic Security Service told APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the vulnerability arises due to a Use After Free (UAF) issue in the V8 engine, which can lead to memory mismanagement.

As a result, cybercriminals can exploit this vulnerability remotely using specially crafted HTML pages.

Users and administrators are advised to update Chrome to version 133.0.6943.53 or later to mitigate the issue.
