Cultural program organized in Kyrgyzstan for president of European Council

A cultural program was organized in Issyk-Kul region for President of the European Council Charles Michel as part of his official visit to Kyrgyzstan on behalf of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov. The program was organized in connection with his great interest in the national culture, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people. Upon arrival at the ethno-complex, the heads of the delegations were greeted by warriors and girls in national costumes. The guests got acquainted with the ethnocultural program that unfolded on the alley of artisans, where national customs and traditions of the Kyrgyz people were presented in yurts with interior decoration, storytellers read excerpts from the Manas epic, singers and instrumentalists showed their skills. The heads of delegations were also shown ethno-cultural games with elements of traditional hunting 'salbuurun', 'kyz kuumai', as well as a concert program prepared by the folklore-ethnographic ensemble "Kambarkan".
