In preparation for COP29, which is set to take place in Baku from 11th to 22nd November, daytime monitoring of transportation management in Baku has been successfully completed to ensure the seamless and safe organisation of road traffic, COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company told APA. As part of the monitoring activities on October 19th , from 11:00 to 15:30, the flow of traffic was assessed for key locations, including accommodation venues in the city centre, the Heydar Aliyev Centre, and Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The monitoring activities were carried out by the COP29 Operating Company, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, and included the deployment of over 20 vehicles and 15 shuttles, with no restrictions being imposed on road traffic.
