Deputies of Turkmenistan adopted laws on social services and hunting

On December 4, the 16th meeting of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of the sixth convocation was held via video link, the state information agency TDH reported .

The deputies considered the draft laws "On social services", "On the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases", "On hunting and the protection of hunting resources."

The draft new law "On social services" defines the concept of "social service", which provides for a set of measures and actions taken for certain categories of persons aimed at improving their living conditions, expanding the ability to independently provide for their basic individual needs .

The Law on the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases defines the legal, organizational, economic and social framework for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases.

TDH emphasizes that "Turkmenistan has achieved great success in prevention in this direction, as evidenced by the issued WHO Certificate."

The Law "On Hunting and Protection of Hunting Resources" prescribes "reasonable use of hunting resources and attitude towards the object of the hunt."

All draft laws were unanimously approved.
