Every year on February 18, the country celebrates the day of diplomatic staff of Turkmenistan. On the eve of the main events, events dedicated to the holiday are organized in higher educational institutions of the country.

At the meeting, Director of the International Relations and Diplomacy Department of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Amangeldi Rakhmanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Sapar Berdiniyazov spoke about the development of the country's diplomacy and the uniqueness of Turkmen neutrality. shared their experiences.
Representatives of the International University of Humanities and Development, Turkmen Institute of National World Languages named after Dovelettmammamet Azadi, Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan also spoke.
Recently, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, together with the activists of the first organization of trade unions, held an event called "The Importance of the Philosophy of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace in Turkmen Diplomacy".
The event was attended by veterans of the diplomatic service of the country, famous politicians, professors and students of higher educational institutions.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that our country is recognized as a peace-building country in the whole world.
Today, Turkmenistan makes an important contribution to the development of creative international cooperation that meets the goals of sustainable development.
In accordance with the resolution 77/32 of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the initiative of Turkmenistan, 2023 was declared the "International Year of Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace".
At the end of the event, scientific workers and representatives of diplomacy were given souvenirs.
