Baku: Disability benefits have been increased for individuals who became disabled while defending the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as due to the events of January 20, 1990.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to implement this change. The decree stipulates that starting from July 1, 2025, the disability benefits will see an increase. For individuals with 81-100 percent impairment of bodily functions, the benefits will rise from 270 to 300 manats. Those with 61-80 percent impairment will see an increase from 220 to 250 manats, and individuals with 31-60 percent impairment will receive an increase from 150 to 180 manats.
