Only 3 flags were raised in the protest organized against French colonialism, one of which is the flag of Azerbaijan. The participants of the action carried the flag of Azerbaijan in the front row and pinned it to the tribune. In addition, the UN and New Caledonia flags were also raised in the action. The participants of the action, organized by the Socialist and National KANAK Freedom Front, shouted slogans against the colonial policy of France and demanded independence. Up to 10,000 protesters took part in the action. It should be noted that Azerbaijan, as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, closely supports the liberation of the overseas territories occupied by France from colonialism.
