The government of Tajikistan will exempt the embassy of Turkmenistan in Dushanbe, which is engaged in the construction of a school in the country, from paying taxes in 2022, "Turkmenistan: Golden Age" announced on December 10.
A school for 540 students will be built in the village of Ergasha Sultonova in the Dustinsky region of Tajikistan, where a large Turkmen community lives. The educational institution will be named after the classic of Turkmen literature Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
In addition, the customer and the main contractor, as well as goods and products imported to Tajikistan for the construction of the facility, are exempted from VAT and income tax.
The Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan announced an international tender for the design and construction of a secondary school in the Khatlon region in June 2018.
