Economy Ministers of China and Central Asia discuss cooperation

The first meeting of the Ministers of Economy and Trade of China and Central Asia was held in the format of a videoconference. Press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The meeting was organized at the initiative of the PRC. It is expected that such meetings will be held regularly to systematically sum up the results of trade and economic cooperation, plan development paths and promote the economic development of the six countries.

The parties outlined the main ways of development of interaction and approved draft documents to strengthen trade and economic cooperation. They are planned to be signed as part of the first China-Central Asia summit in Xi’an in May this year.
