At a Cabinet meeting on October 15, Secretary of the State Security Council Charmymyrat Amanov reported on the opening of eight fire safety points in the velayats, the TDH state news agency reported .

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of observing fire safety rules at enterprises and institutions, as well as by citizens of the country. The head of state stressed that the new points should work to prevent the occurrence of fires.

October 4 Berdimuhamedov announced a reprimand Interior Minister Ovezdurdy Hodzhanyyazovu and among other things said that one of the priorities of the Ministry is to ensure fire safety.
