Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived in Kyrgyzstan for a state visit for the first time. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov met the distinguished guest at Manas International Airport. The Emir of Qatar was keenly interested in the national culture, the decoration of the Kyrgyz yurt, and the characteristics of the Taigan dog breed. As part of the state visit tomorrow, June 7, the leaders of the countries will hold bilateral talks in narrow and expanded formats, discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, and prospects for further deepening bilateral cooperation.
