Entry to Turkmenistan is allowed only for vaccinated foreigners

In accordance with the decision of the Extraordinary Commission of Turkmenistan to combat the spread of diseases, all foreign citizens entering the country must have the following documents with them:

a certificate of the passage of PCR testing (validity period - 72 hours);

a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or a certificate of the presence of antibodies to COVID-19 (IgM, IgG).

In this case, the certificate is considered valid 42 days after the first dose of the vaccine. If there are contraindications to vaccination for health reasons, you must provide an appropriate medical document.

This news was posted on its website on September 28 by the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat. The State Information Agency TDH did not report on the meeting of the Commission. Since the 26th, mass celebrations dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan have been held in the country.
