The 18th meeting of the joint EU-Turkmenistan committee was held in Brussels, during which prospects for bilateral partnership were discussed.
The agenda of the meeting included the development of trade relations and the further promotion of reforms in the field of economic policy of Turkmenistan.
In particular, the parties discussed the course of interaction in such areas as the rule of law, reforming public administration, financial and investment interaction, security, and the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and other threats and challenges of the time.
