EU plans to expand sanctions on Russia, Iran organizations-Media

During Monday's meeting, the foreign ministers of the European Union (EU) countries plan to make a decision on the adoption of a new package of sanctions against Iranian and Russian organizations, informed sources among EU diplomats, APA reports citing Politico. According to them, the new sanctions will be directed against Iranian companies which are allegedly linked to sending arms to other countries in the region, as well as to Russia. In addition, the foreign ministers of the EU countries plan to discuss the matter of countering sanctions evasion and may adopt a decision against some undisclosed Russian organizations that allegedly participate in Moscow's "destabilizing actions" in several other countries.
