The European Union plans to continue supporting Azerbaijan's efforts in energy efficiency and the development of a "green policy," Peter Michalko, the head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, said this at the B2B Forum in Baku, on the topic Green Technology and Sustainable Development, APA-Economics reports. He stated that the EU has supported Azerbaijan's government in energy efficiency framework programs, the formulation of a "green policy," sustainable water management, and other crucial areas through various bilateral projects, and intends to continue this support in the future. Peter Michalko also added that the EU has recently embarked on a new partnership with Azerbaijan ahead of COP29: "Recently, we launched a public campaign to raise awareness about the protection of our natural resources leading up to COP29. The campaign is titled 'For Our Planet - Safe Water, Clean Air, Clean Soil, and Green Energy.'
