Export flights from Turkmenistan to Russia will be operated by Turkmen Airlines instead of S7

Instead of the Russian airline S7, Turkmen Airlines will operate charter flights from Turkmenistan to Russia , Turkmen news reported March 6, citing a source in the Foreign Ministry.

On March 9, at the request of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat, the first flight will take place. 187 people will leave Turkmenistan on this plane. The plane will fly to Moscow not from Turkmenabat, like S7 flights, but from Ashgabat.

Flights from Turkmenistan to Russia will apparently become regular, like earlier S7 flights. According to the source of the publication, the next flights will take place on March 14, 18 and 25. It was on these dates that the flights of the Russian airline were previously scheduled.

On March 5, the S7 airline, which operated evacuation flights from Turkmenistan to Russia, announced the suspension of all international flights. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ashgabat informed the editors of the Chronicles of Turkmenistan that despite this, the flight scheduled for March 9 will take place.
