Fenerbah§e Cancels Contract with Gabriel Souza After Failed Medical Exam

Istanbul: Fenerbah§e has decided to cancel the contract with their new transfer, Gabriel Souza, after he failed to pass the medical examination. The decision was made after the Brazilian player was found to have a tear in his right knee.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Fenerbah§e had initially reached an agreement to transfer Gabriel Souza. However, the medical examination revealed an injury in his right leg, requiring surgery. This finding led the club to abandon the transfer, as the recovery period for the injury is expected to be 8-10 months.

In January, Fenerbah§e's management had successfully signed players like Skriniar, Diego Carlos, Mimovic, and Anderson Talisca. However, Souza's transfer faced an unexpected setback due to his health issues. The club decided that proceeding with the transfer was not feasible, given the player's long-term recovery needs.
