Baku: During the first nine months of 2024, the number of fires investigated reached 1,351 in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA. According to Azeri-Press news agency, 35 people lost their lives, and 163 were injured in these fires. Compared to last year, this represents an increase of 9 fatalities (35%) and 39 injuries (31%).
