First frosts are expected in Turkmenistan. October became the coldest for Ashgabat since 1993

From Thursday, November 4, a strong cold snap and first frosts are expected in Turkmenistan, Meteozhurnal reports .

Arctic cold air, which will come from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, will first cover the northern region of the country. In the Dashoguz velayat, the daytime temperature will drop to 1-6 degrees Celsius.

On the night of November 5, frosts are expected across the entire territory of Turkmenistan. At night in Dashoguz, the temperature will drop to 2-7 degrees below zero, in other regions from -4 to 1 degrees.

In Ashgabat, from November 1 to 3, the temperature will fluctuate from 15 to 21 degrees during the day , and from 7 to 12 degrees at night.

Meanwhile, as the newspaper writes , October was the coldest for Ashgabat since 1993.

While the last six months in a row, the average air temperature in the capital was significantly above normal and almost a record, in October it was 14.7 degrees, with an average monthly rate of 17.1 degrees.
