Baku: The date of the first solar eclipse of the year has been announced, said the Department of Astrophysics at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University (BSU), APA reports. The solar eclipse will commence on March 29 at 12:50:35 and conclude at 16:43:25.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the duration of the eclipse will be 3 hours, 52 minutes, and 50 seconds. The peak of the event is expected to occur at 14:48:36. The partial eclipse will be visible in regions including northern Russia, Europe, North-West Africa, and the Atlantic Ocean.
It is noted that the eclipse will not be observable in Azerbaijan.
