Five years to build new villages in Lebap velayat

At a video conference on March 4, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Lebap Velayat's khyakim to start building new settlements in the near future and complete these works in five years - in 2024.

According to the state news agency TDH , "the president noted that the construction of new settlements in Chardzhevsky, Sayatsky, Khalachsky and Kerkinsky districts is a significant event for the residents of the region, therefore, first of all, it is necessary to establish a social infrastructure there."

Recall that on February 25, Deputy Prime Minister Dadebay Amangeldiev presented to the head of state a plan for theconstruction of modern settlements in the Lebap Region. The settlements are designed to accommodate 3,500 families. Schools, kindergartens, cultural institutions, shopping centers, administrative, public and other social facilities will be built there.
