Foreign and Domestic Transactions Surge at Turkmenistan’s Commodity Exchange.

Ashgabat: The total amount of transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan reached 42 million 586 thousand US dollars last week. A total of 22 transactions were recorded during this period, showcasing active participation from both international and domestic markets. According to Turkmenistan State News Agency, international businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Trkiye, and Uzbekistan acquired liquefied gas and illuminating kerosene produced by the State Concern «Trkmennebit». Additionally, entrepreneurs from Tajikistan secured liquefied gas from State Concern «Trkmengaz», while Afghan businessmen purchased ECO-93 gasoline from SC «Trkmenhimiýa». These transactions contributed significantly to the overall transaction value. For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs focused on purchasing cotton yarn and textile waste. The total value of these domestic transactions exceeded 23 million 430 thousand manats, reflecting the robust demand within Turkmenistan's own industri al sectors.
