Baku: The foreign liabilities of the banking sector have increased by AZN 28.4 million compared to the beginning of the year, reaching AZN 2 billion 626.5 million as of November 1. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the increase in foreign liabilities is mainly related to the rise in the volume of short-term deposits attracted from non-resident banks. This trend indicates a growing reliance on foreign financial resources within Azerbaijan's banking system.
