Baku: Foreign Ministers from Azerbaijan and Trkiye have conducted discussions covering key regional issues such as the situation in Syria and Gaza, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, highlighted these topics during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bayramov emphasized that achieving a ceasefire in Gaza is significant and reiterated Azerbaijan's support for a two-state solution. The discussions also included Trkiye's backing for the new Syrian government and explored avenues for strengthening regional security.
Furthermore, Bayramov updated his Turkish counterpart on the ongoing normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, indicating a continued dialogue and efforts towards resolution.
