BAKU: The process of formalizing special entry visas for officials, delegations, and guests attending the upcoming international climate change conferences in Azerbaijan is currently underway, as announced by Ismayil Rasulzade, head of the "AsanVisa" department of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations (VXSIDA). This measure is being taken in preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol, and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement. According to Azeri-Press news agency, Ismayil Rasulzade emphasized the necessity of the 'COP29 Special Visa' for international participants traveling to Azerbaijan for the events. The special visa can be acquired through the official electronic visa portal or via diplomatic missions and consulates of Azerbaijan abroad. These steps are aimed at ensuring the comfort and ea se of entry for attendees from various countries.
