Former prisoner who was tortured by Vagif Khachaturyan: I recognized him asI saw him on TV, he was the one who tormented Azerbaijanis the most

A resident of Ujar, who was wounded and captured in the First Karabakh War and returned from captivity after a while, spoke about the tortures inflicted on him by an Armenian named Vagif, who was detained at the Lachin checkpoint the other day, APA's local office reports.

Mammadov Mail Mahammadali, a resident of Ujar district, born in 1971, voluntarily went to Karabakh in 1990 and took part in its battles. He was captured in a wounded state. After some time, he was exchanged with Armenian prisoners and returned to his homeland.

Mail Mammadov recognized an Armenian named Vagif who was detained at the Lachin checkpoint the other day and says that he tortured him unnecessarily: "During my captivity, I was subjected to torture. But it was Vagif who tortured me the most. He poured a boiling kettle on my head. The hot water completely peeled off my scalp. An indomitable Armenian then heated a previously prepared iron cross in a wood stove and pressed it on my chest. In general, Vagif, who was kept at the checkpoint, tortured Azerbaijanis the most during the captivity. I recognized him as soon as I saw him on TV the other day. And the tortures he gave me came before my eyes. "I still haven't recovered from seeing him on TV."

Note that Vagif Cherkezovich Khachaturyan, born in 1955, who was born in Badara village of Askeran district and lived in that village, tortured Azerbaijani prisoners, was detained yesterday at Lachin checkpoint.
