Foundation of UPU’s Regional Development Plan for Europe and CIS for 2026-2029 to be Established in Baku

Baku: At the Postal Leaders Forum for European and CIS countries, which is being hosted in Baku for the first time, the foundation for the Regional Development Plan for Europe and the CIS for 2026-2029 by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) will be established, as stated by Mr. Marjan Osvald, Deputy Director-General of the International Bureau of the UPU.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mr. Osvald emphasized the significance of the forum, which spans three days, as a platform for meaningful dialogue and strategic exploration. The event aims to lay the groundwork for the Regional Development Plan, which will shape the future of UPU's projects, activities, and initiatives in the Europe and CIS regions over the next few years. This forum is designed to facilitate cooperation, exchange of ideas, and experiences, thereby offering opportunities for substantial proposals.

Mr. Osvald also highlighted the dynamic role of the forum as a networking platform, featuring stimulating sessions and panel discussions. He encouraged participants to fully utilize the networking opportunities available and to visit the exhibition area.
