On September 3, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov , visited Mary Velayat on behalf of the President, the state information agency TDH reports .
First, the ex-president visited the regional children's hospital, where he spoke with parents and children, the money for the treatment of which will be allocated from the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship.
“ The child in the preoperative preparation room read poetry to Arkadag . It sounded like a response to concern for the health of children,” writes TDH.
At the hospital, Berdimuhamedov Sr. presented gifts to the children and handed over to the hospital staff a Savina 300 ventilator for artificial ventilation of the lungs of newborns and children manufactured by the German company Drager.
In response, the medical workers presented Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with a national robe and an astrakhan hat.
Then the ex-president went to the Sakarchaga etrap of the Mary velayat, where a 48-apartment building for people with disabilities was solemnly opened. There he examined the apartment, which was received by the family of Yazgeldi Charyev , a resident of the Chashgyn gengeshlik.
As the state information agency clarifies, “favorable conditions for people with disabilities have been created in the rooms and the kitchen.” However, the TV report does not show devices that can make life easier for a person in a wheelchair. The width of the doors is standard, as is the height of the cabinets and stoves in the kitchen. The kitchen has conventional hanging cabinets, which are impossible to reach while sitting in a chair.
Berdimuhamedov drove the newcomer around the apartment in a wheelchair and, on behalf of his Charitable Foundation, handed him a new, judging by the television footage, the same wheelchair. On behalf of the President of the country, Charyev received a domestic television.
At the State Energy Institute, the Chairman of the Upper House of Parliament delivered a speech on the energy industry to students. More about this at the link .
At the end of the visit, according to TDH, “Hero-Arkadag went to the mosque of Gurbanguly-hadji”. The mosque is named after the ex-president.
