Good chances to hold meeting of Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia FMs in Moscow – MFA

There are good chances for holding a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia in Moscow, Head of the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said during the weekly briefing, Trend reports.

"As soon as we get specific information about the date of the meeting from the experts who are currently working on the details, we will definitely make it public," she said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry earlier expressed readiness to organize a trilateral meeting of foreign ministers in Moscow to discuss ways to implement agreements at the highest level, including the negotiation of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In January 2021, during a meeting in Moscow, the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan made a decision to create a working group at the level of the deputy prime ministers of the three countries that would focus on establishing transport and economic links in Nagorno-Karabakh, following the end of the second Karabakh war in 2020.
