Government revenues amounted to 9.2 million manats after transfer of lottery company under state property management

In 2022, the state budget gained AZN 9.2 million ($5.4 million) after the transfer of the lottery company under the state property management. In a published report of the Chamber of Accounts on the execution of the state budget for 2022 the source of this income is also mentioned - "Azerlotereya" OJSC (state monopoly on circulation and instant lotteries), specifying the fact that the revenues to the state budget had for the first time been received from this source. Responding to Turan's written query last year about the amount of funds to be paid by the management company for 2021, "Azerlotereya" OJSC reported that "the issue is regulated by the agreement between the Ministry of Economy and "YMT Sans B.V." (subsidiary of "Demirören Sans Oyunlari Yatirimlari A.S.", Turkey) the content of which is a commercial secret. The agreement for "Azerlotereya" to be managed by the Turkish holding company was signed in February 2021 for a period of 10+5 years. Other terms of the contract are not publicly disclosed.
