Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov will pay a visit to Azerbaijan soon, Beglov told APA's Russian bureau. According to him, preparations for this visit are currently underway. Stating that St. Petersburg's relations with Azerbaijan are developing positively within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Russia interregional cooperation, the Governor noted that Petersburg is friendly with Azerbaijan and conducts joint projects: "A large Azerbaijani diaspora is operating in St. Petersburg. Currently, preparations are underway for my visit to Azerbaijan. I should be visiting Azerbaijan soon. We should agree with Azerbaijan in several directions.
