Grape and Wine Festival underway in Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi

BAKU: The next Grape and Wine Festival has kicked off in the village of Meysari in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi district, organized by the State Tourism Agency and the executive authority of the Shamakhi district, Trend reports. The opening of the festival was attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency Fuad Nagiyev, other officials and numerous guests. A number of popular artists and bands from Azerbaijan and other countries will perform at the two-days festival held at the wine-making complex in the village of Meysari. The stage will feature Aygun Kazimova (September 8), Azad Shabanov (September 7), singer and dancer from Cuba Edglis Hale (September 7), Elvin Mirzazade (September 8), Good Girls group (September 7), the popular Georgian Niko's Band (September 7), MadTeen and R?ssam (September 8), RomanandNirvana Band (September 8), the duet of Shahriyar Imanov and Teymur Suleymanbeyli (September 7), and DJ Amalov (both days of the festival). The festival area is divided into various interactive zones: tasting, entertainment, food, souvenir sales, master classes, including a master class on painting with wine, open-air film screening.
