Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Muhammad Navaz Sharif exchange the visions on key aspects of Turkmen – Pakistani relations

Telephone conversation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Navaz Sharif took place.

The Head of the Government of Pakistan cordially congratulated the Head of Turkmenistan on convincing win of the Presidential Elections and wished great successes on responsible government position. The Prime Minister also conveyed warm greetings from Presdient of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mamnun Hussein who addressed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and all Turkmen people with wishes of happiness, peace and prosperity. It was highlighted that Pakistan pays great attention to comprehensive development of the relations with Turkmenistan that achieved large successes in all spheres.

During the conversation, the Sides shared the opinions on key aspects of interstate relations, which steadfast consolidation is promoted by established trustful and respectful dialog on high level.

Having stated the presence of huge potential of bilateral cooperation in different spheres of the economy and first, in fuel and energy sector, transport and communication, the Sides made special mention of the importance of construction of transnational gas main Turkmenistan � Afghanistan �

Pakistan � India that has great importance both in regional and global scales.

During the conversation, the Sides exchange the opinions on the issues of regional and international politics that presents mutual interest. Having stated with delight the community and coincidence of the opinions on global challenges of today, the Sides highlighted that it serves as reliable foundation for constructive cooperation of both countries under international organizations, first under the UN and to consolidation of common efforts for provisions of peace, stability and sustainable development.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Prime Minister Muhammad Navaz Sharif to visit Turkmenistan.
