On October 4, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the head of state at the international airport in Tashkent , his press service reported .

The presidents visited Mustakillik Square and laid flowers at the foot of the Monument of Independence and Humanism.

The summit talks will take place tomorrow, October 5, at the Kuksaroy residence.

The preparations for the visit were discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 2 and at a meeting on September 6.
