At the invitation of the Japanese side, the President of Turkmenistan will visit the Land of the Rising sun to participate in the celebrations on the occasion of the ascension to the throne of Emperor Naruhito. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov told about it in the message to the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in response to his congratulation on the occasion of opening in Turkmenistan of plant on production of gasoline from natural gas.
As you know, on June 28, 2019, with the participation of the Turkmen leader, a plant for the production of synthetic gasoline from natural gas was put into operation in Akhal region . The Japanese company Kawasaki Hemi Indastriz, the Bank for international cooperation of Japan, as well as the Turkish Renessans Took an active part in the implementation of this project under the contract with SC Turkmengas group. At the ceremony in honor of this event, a congratulatory message from the head of the government of the Country of the Rising sun was read.
In his response message to Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, the head of Turkmenistan noted the friendly, constructive nature of interstate relations, which in recent years have reached a qualitatively new level and are successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats, through international organizations, as well as within the framework of the Dialogue "Central Asia + Japan".
- Our countries have consistently demonstrated a mutual desire to increase productive cooperation in a wide range of areas on a long-term basis. This is confirmed by the effective activity of the leading Japanese companies in the Turkmen market, their participation in the implementation of major infrastructure projects carried out in the context of Turkmenistan's policy of industrialization and diversification of the national economy, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said in his address.
Thanking Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for his ideas on the further development of the interstate dialogue, the President stressed that Turkmenistan sees Japan as a reliable, strategic partner.
The President of Turkmenistan also expressed hope that bilateral cooperation will continue to strengthen and expand, including through the implementation of new joint projects.
It should be noted that during the previous meetings of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen committees on economic cooperation among the key areas of bilateral cooperation identified gas and petrochemicals, transport and communications, agriculture, the introduction of advanced technologies, etc.
