On July 11, ex-president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave kurbanlyk-sadaqah on behalf of the head of state on the occasion of the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe , the state information agency TDH reports .
According to the newspaper, the commemoration was held in the fashionable hotel "Arkadag" with the participation of members of the government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ambassadors and representatives of international organizations.
“Hadji Arkadag, speaking to the participants, stressed that on behalf of Arkadaglu Serdar , he dedicates this kurbanlyk-sadaqa to the blessed memory of the former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe,” TDH writes.
The ex-president said that he had the opportunity to repeatedly meet with Shinzo Abe, who contributed to the strengthening and development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed condolences to the leaders and representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan, and also asked the Ambassador of Japan to convey deep condolences to Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on behalf of the head of Turkmenistan. He also asked to convey sincere words of empathy and support to the family of Shinzo Abe personally on his own behalf and on behalf of his family , TDH notes.
Shinzo Abe passed away on July 8 at the age of 67. During a speech in the city of Nara in southern Japan, he was shot twice in the back with a gun. The politician died in the hospital a few hours later.
