Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of his son, met with American and Ukrainian businessmen

On May 25, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with American and Ukrainian businessmen.

The state news agency TDH notes that the meetings were held "on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ." The heads of the companies arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the celebration of the City Day and the International Exhibition "White City Ashgabat".

At a meeting with the ex-president, the executive director of the Business Council "Turkmenistan-USA" Eric Stewart and the chief executive officer, member of the Board of Directors of Nicklaus Companies John Reese "declared their readiness to strengthen their positions in the promising Turkmen market."

The parties also discussed current and prospective joint projects in the energy and financial sectors, in the field of agriculture and digital systems, in the field of sports .

The day before , Serdar Berdimuhamedov himself met with Eric Stewart and John Reese . American businessmen expressed their desire to continue to support the development of such a popular sport as golf in Turkmenistan.

Then Berdimuhamedov Sr. met with the heads of the Ukrainian companies Altcom Oleksandr Tislenko and Interbudmontazh Volodymyr Petruk .

Tislenko announced his readiness to provide the Turkmen partners with the experience in building bridges , and Petruk expressed his interest in implementing new joint projects, promising that Interbudmontazh would continue to "responsibly approach the fulfillment of its partner obligations", TDH writes .

President Serdar Berdymukhammedov met with Tislenko and Petruk a month ago when they came to Ashgabat to take part in celebrations marking Akhal-Teke Day. at a meeting with the head of Altcom, Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed further partnerships “taking into account the successful experience of joint work on the development of the transport sector”, and at a meeting with the head of Interbudmontazh, the head of Turkmenistan spoke about the wide opportunities for continuing work in the field of improvement of Ashgabat.

Previously, Altcom received large contracts for the construction of airports in Turkmenabat and Dashoguz, as well as road and railway bridges.

Interbudmontazh was engaged in the construction of a drainage and communication tunnel near Ashgabat, as well as sewage treatment facilities and a distribution transformer substation. Earlier, the company also proposed a project for the construction of a metro in the Turkmen capital, which should connect the city with the Ashgabat City business center under construction.
