BAKU: The construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway has reached a significant milestone, with 60% of the work now completed, according to Rovshan Rustamov, Head of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. This development was confirmed during a recent briefing, as reported by APA-Economics. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rustamov highlighted that one of the tunnels in the railway project is now fully completed, and excavation efforts are underway on a second tunnel. He emphasized that all project-related work has been finalized, allowing construction activities to proceed without hindrance. In addition to the Horadiz-Aghband railway, Rustamov provided updates on other infrastructure projects, stating that the road for the Barda-Aghdam project is now finished. He also mentioned that the second phase of the Aghdam bus station and railway station complex is currently being implemented, with an anticipated completion in the coming months.
