Head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan R. Meredov, who disappeared for three weeks, spoke at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov made a report during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

This is Meredov's first appearance in the information field since August 20. According to Radio Azatlyk, the minister contracted the coronavirus and was hospitalized on 24 August. The Foreign Ministry denied this information, stating that the head of the department was at his workplace, but could not explain his absence at various international meetings.

Reporting to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Meredov outlined the work of the ministry this year. What he was doing for the last three weeks, the minister did not specify.
