Baku: The duration of the heating season in Azerbaijan is set to be adjusted following discussions at the Milli Majlis (Parliament). Ilham Mirzaliyev, chairman of 'Azeristiliktechizat' JSC, announced the establishment of a working group in collaboration with the Cabinet of Ministers and the Ministry of Ecology to address this issue during the session focused on the new draft law "On Heat Supply."
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the working group is evaluating the country's climate conditions by geographical regions. This assessment aims to adjust the heating season duration in the colder mountainous, foothill, and lowland regions. Mirzaliyev assured that incorporating these adjustments into the law will not pose any challenges.
The heating season in Azerbaijan traditionally starts on November 15 and continues until April 15 of the following year.
