Baku: Within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku this month, representatives from various countries and international organizations will organize a series of events in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. These events aim to engage in comprehensive discussions on topics such as human development, green jobs, decent work for all, and social protection, as reported by the Ministry to APA. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event will gather ministers and high-level officials from various countries, UN agencies, and other international organizations. Discussions will focus on the impacts of transitioning to a climate-resilient economy on the labor market, enhancing the resilience of human capital to climate events through improved social protection and skills, and the importance of creating synergies between education, healthcare, emplo yment, and skills to strengthen human development.
