Today on April 19, the representatives of the ICRC visited 2 Azerbaijani citizens, detained in Yerevan recently. One-on-one meeting was held with them, and given the opportunity to contact their families through a Red Cross Letter, ICRC Azerbaijan representation told APA.

In accordance with its mandate, the ICRC assesses the treatment and conditions of detention of detainees during visits and facilitates the restoration or continuation of contact with their families. In accordance with ICRC procedures, observations and recommendations regarding visits are shared only with the detaining party.
