Improving pasture water supply

Reconstruction of two shaft wells - «Ajy Guýy-1» and «Ajy Guýy-2» is carried out on distant pastures located in the northern region of the country by specialists from the Dasoguzörisuw repair and construction company.

The work carried out by them will allow extending the operational life of these underground water sources and restoring their debit. After reconstruction, each of them will be able to water a large area.

Among the systemic measures taken in the Dashoguz velayat for the development of distant pastures, an important role is played by the irrigation of used pastures. In this direction, the presence of a developed network of shaft wells is significant, which are reliable water intake facilities that can absorb groundwater from a depth of several tens of meters. They are accessible for cleaning, easy to operate, easy to repair, serve as a reliable and durable source of water for household and drinking needs.

This year alone, the RSP «Dasoguzörisuw» carried out various works on distant pastures in its specialization in the amount of more than 200 thousand manats, which is close to the indicators planned for the year.

In the Dashoguz velayat, where large specialized farms successfully operate in two etraps, practicing transhumance sheep breeding and camel breeding, the productivity of pastures and their fodder opportunities are always in the zone of special attention. First of all, for the reason that pasture grass is the cheapest and most valuable feed, containing all the nutrients necessary for livestock, including vitamins and mineral salts.
