In Ashgabat, a park was opened in front of the old airport, for which houses were demolished

On September 15, a public garden and underground passages were solemnly opened in Ashgabat on the section of A. Niyazov Avenue and Kh.A. Yasavi Street, the state information agency TDH reports .

The total area of the four new underground passages is 6,270 square meters. There are shops and parking lots here.

The publication does not mention the presence of officials, but writes that musicians, circus troupes, creative groups and famous singers performed for the audience .

The role of the audience was played by several elders in identical costumes.

For the construction of this park on this site in 2019-2020, residential buildings and a dormitory were demolished , in which 47 families of Turkmen Airlines employees lived. To make the tenants move out of the rooms faster, the water, electricity and heating supplies were turned off in the building . They were not provided with any other housing.
