In Dashoguz, Berdimuhamedov was shown a power transmission line under construction, a poultry farm, and a destan dedicated to him was sung

On January 20, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in the Dashoguz velayat, the state information agency TDH reports .

 

From the airport, the head of state, in an SUV through the desert, went to the construction site of the 500-kilovolt line Balkan-Dashoguz in the etrap named after. Gurbansoltan eje, Dashoguz velayat.

The President was told about the construction of the Balkan-Dashoguz power transmission line, which will become part of the country’s ring energy system, and was shown the projects of various sections of power lines, substations and the Dashoguz state power plant.

Minister of Energy Khadzhimurat Rejepmyradov reported on the work of the country’s power plants, including projects of 10-megawatt solar and wind power plants in the Serdar etrap of the Balkan velayat.

Deputy Prime Minister in charge of construction, industry and energy, Charymyrat Purchekov, reported on the construction of a section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power transmission line from the Mary State Power Plant to the Vatan HPP, as well as plans to lay a section of the line in Afghanistan from Mazar Sharif to Kabul.

After all the presentations, Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the topic of energy. According to the head of state, natural resources allowed Turkmenistan to become one of the largest energy states in the world.

 

 

“The domestic consumer is reliably and uninterruptedly provided with electricity, and we export the electricity produced in excess of the required volumes to other countries in various directions,” the head of state said, adding that at the moment Turkmen electricity is exported to Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Further, it is planned to transport electricity through Iran and Uzbekistan to third countries.

 

At the end of the meeting, Hyakim of Dashoguz velayat Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov, on behalf of all residents of the velayat, thanked the President “for valuable advice on various issues of building the Balkan-Dashoguz section of the ring energy system.”

 

 

After the meeting, Berdimuhamedov went to a poultry farm in the Gyorogly etrap.

 

 

The President was told about the work of the poultry complex and was shown the products produced here. One of the workers played the dutar and sang a destan dedicated to the head of state.

 

 

A week ago, Berdimuhamedov visited the Balkan province, where he met with local fishermen, who spoke about their happy life and sang a song dedicated to the president.

 

At the beginning of the year, the head of state visited Mary and Lebap velayats.
