"Kapitalbank" has published its financial indices for the first half of 2003. In January-June, the bank made a net profit of 146.7 million manats. This is up by 15.4% from the same period last year. By the beginning of July this year, the assets of "Kapitalbank" were 4.4% more than at the beginning of July last year - 7,944.4 million manats, including the loan portfolio - 14.9% more - 3,152.9 million manams. Bank's liabilities amounted to 7,121 million manats (2% more), including the deposit portfolio of 6,238.95 million manats (2.5% more), and the balance sheet capital of 823.4 million manats (31.2% more), including the authorized capital amounted to 265.85 million manats.
