In St. Petersburg, a migrant from Turkmenistan was shot in the face

On the night of January 17, on Sofiyskaya Street in St. Petersburg, a conflict broke out between a local resident and a visitor from Turkmenistan, as a result of which the latter received a gunshot wound to the cheek. This is reported by the information site Piter TV .

As the newspaper writes, the injured 41-year-old Turkmen citizen was hospitalized at the Research Institute of Emergency Medicine named after. Dzhanelidze.

The incident was captured on video published by Nevskiye Novosti. Judging by the footage, the attacker fired not live, but signal cartridges.

The shooter turned out to be 46-year-old unemployed Andrei M. On January 17, he was detained and placed in a temporary detention center. A case was initiated against him under the article on hooliganism.
