It is reported that phytosanitary certificates, with which the consignment of tomatoes was accompanied, were issued in Turkmenistan.
During the control in both batches, a dangerous quarantine object was found - a tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Gen.). The presence of the larvae and the imaginative quarantine object in a viable state is confirmed by laboratory examination carried out by experts of the Orenburg Reference Center of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
A week earlier, a microbiological laboratory was opened in Turkmenistan , in which food research was to be conducted to ensure its safety and certification according to international standards.
In Turkmenistan, as part of the import substitution program, greenhouses are being built everywhere , in which it is planned to grow vegetables for both the local market and for the export of products abroad.
